The Tri-Service Radar Symposium
(TSRS) is the most prestigious and oldest continuous meeting of defense radar
engineers, scientists, and technologists. The TSRS will celebrate its 68th
Symposium in 2022. This event provides
an important Tri-Service forum for presenting a wide range of radar technology
programs that span research and development through currently fielded systems
of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard. It is the only venue
that specifically concentrates on classified and sensitive radar technology and
development. Chairmanship rotates yearly among the Army, Navy, and Air Force;
the 2022 Symposium is being coordinated and led by the Army. This rotation
synergistically benefits the services, the broader Government, and Department
of Defense (DoD) contractors through peer interactions that enhance the quality
of work and stimulate creativity by sharing ideas and progress across services
and corporate organizational boundaries. Over the years, participation has
grown to include industry and academic partners with the TSRS becoming a truly
integrated community event.
The 2022 Military Sensing
Symposia (MSS) TSRS will feature presentations and poster sessions, and one day
of short courses and focused topic workshops. This will include a “Women in
Radar” luncheon as well as plenary and invited speaker sessions. The theme for
the 2022 conference is Radar in a Contested Spectrum Environment. The 2022 TSRS
provides an unparalleled opportunity to gain insight into the latest radar
technology and military applications across the Tri-Service Radar community.
Since its inception, the TSRS has
focused on providing a forum for peer review and exchange of science and
technology (S&T) information that is typically not available in the open
literature. The Symposium consists of lectures, workshops, tutorials, and
poster sessions, with all papers published in the proceedings and provided to
every attendee.
